  My wife has been a patient of Doctor Katsamakis for a couple of years, and despite chronic lateness on the part of the doctor's office, the first time she was 15 minutes late they turned her away, and after begging to be seen for active symptoms, the dr and the staff treated her with serious disrespect. NEVER going here again.

  Dr. Sherman has been fantastic treating my Trigeminal neuralgia and I'm grateful for him. But the office is TERRIBLE. This past Friday they didn't get back to my insurance company all day so I have to suffer without my pain medicine all weekend until Monday. Also, they have no freaking answering machine so you have to sit on the phone waiting for someone to pick up. Can't even leave a damn voicemail. Someone need to hire new office staff, the doctors are fine.

  I have to unfortunately agree with the other reviews of the office staff. I think they are careful to hide it from management. The doctor told us that although we needed to get the Botox approved, she was sure it would be (due to existing drug interactions, other co-morbidities and drug class failures) and to just make a 6 week appointment anyway. The girl at the counter refused citing policy of approval first. I told her to go ask the doctor. I don't know who she asked but she comes back with same attitude of trying to lay down the law. I just didn't have time to argue so I told her to make it as a follow up. Her attitude was pretty combative and not in any way caring as in "healthcare". But the nurse practitioner we saw was great and have no complaints with the actual medical care we received.
